Breeding Strategy
The Coefficient of Inbreeding (COI) represents the probability that a horse has inherited two identical copies of a gene from a common ancestor.
Intense inbreeding. Can "fix" traits but carries higher risk of genetic defects and lower health stats.
Outcross. Introduces genetic diversity and hybrid vigor, leading to better consistency.
Aim for a moderate COI (around 3-5%) to preserve bloodline quality while avoiding extreme risks. Stable Tracker uses Wright's formula over 6 generations.
