The Compatibility Score Calculation 💯

The AI generates a raw compatibility score based on a proprietary algorithm that weights several genetic and conformation factors. The higher the score, the better the predicted genetic match!

1. Prioritizing Genetic Uplift (GP) ⬆️

• The largest positive score is awarded for the difference between the Stud's GP and the Mare's GP. 🐎
• For every point of positive GP difference (Stud GP > Mare GP), the score is increased by 1 point. This directly rewards using a superior stud. ⭐

2. Fixing Conformation Weaknesses 🛠️

The AI specifically searches for candidates who can neutralize the mare's deficiencies in Conformation Grades (Very Good, Good, Average, Below Average, Poor). This is where the magic happens! ✨

• Huge Bonus for High VG (45 points): A large bonus is awarded if the stud has a high "Very Good" count (six or more), especially if the mare has a low VG count (two or less). 🥇
• Removing Weakness (40 points): A significant bonus is awarded if the stud has zero "Below Average" grades and the mare has one or more. Eliminating flaws is key. 🧹
• Overall Improvement (25 points): An additional bonus is applied if the Stud's Total Score (Conformation Grade %) is higher than the Mare's Total Score. 📈

3. Lethal Risk Penalty 💀

The system applies a massive negative score if the mating carries the risk of Lethal White Overo Syndrome (OLWS) or any other tracked lethal genetic pairing. Safety first! ⚠️
